Commercial/Industrial Mechanical Sales Representative HVAC/Plumbing/Piping/Electrical/Sheet Metal

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (and/or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Business and/or Marketing experience preferred
  • 5+ years of Industrial/Commercial Mechanical Service Sales Account Management (HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, and Plumbing)
  • 5+ year’s in the field mechanical experience preferred (HVAC/Plumbing/Piping/Electrical and Sheet Metal)
  • Proven ability to develop new business and working with all types of business owners
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills
  • Physical ability to gain access to various rooms, subbasement, confined space areas and work during incremental weather conditions as theses situation will apply to find a solution for the customers’ needs
  • Must have a clear MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) and valid Texas Driver’s License
  • Be able to pass background check and complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (English) used in the workplace

Mechanical Systems Commercial Account Executive – Job Description:

  • New customer outreach minimum 45-50 face to face visits weekly
  • Responsible for increasing account penetration by 10% in 6 months, customer satisfaction and sales growth for long term results
  • Close $1-2M in sales a year
  • Ability to educate our customers on our exceptional line of services offered
  • Must be able to develop relationships between the company and accounts through the coordination of sales and up-selling current and past accounts
  • Develop and plan account strategies and activities for specified accounts: Ex. selecting accounts, selecting service for calls, identifying buyer influences, overcoming objections, introducing new services, making sales presentations and negotiating discount points
  • Present strong leadership skills – able to motivate and negotiate using listening skills, body language, tact and diplomacy
  • At least 2 professional references for further consideration
  • This role will not have any operational/project management responsibilities as this role is strictly managing the account relationship and selling
